We are looking for a Localisation Project Manager

We are now hiring a Localisation Project Manager to join our international team with English as our main language of communication.

Comunica is an LSP specialized in the Nordics and located in Southern Spain.

Qualifications

University degree: BA or MA in Translation, Philology or Linguistics

Languages: English with full working proficiency. If you speak a Nordic language it is an advantage.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years Localization Project Management experience.

Role
As a Localization Project Manager you will manage multilingual projects in a deadline driven environment taking full ownership of your projects ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction.

Project Manager Knowledge and skills

• Advanced Project Management skills: strong communication, efficient planning and organizational skills, reporting skills
• Quality evaluation practices and tools
• Capacity to successfully solve unexpected issues with minor impact and with a proactive and positive “can do” attitude
• Capacity to manage multilingual projects in deadline driven work environment
• Able to negotiate effectively

Tasks

• Ensure customer’s satisfaction
• Full ownership of each localization phase
• Proposal creation, project analysis, planning and scheduling
• Risks analysis and mitigation plans
• Resource selection, monitoring and query management
• Status reports, quality assurance
• Cost tracking
• Successful project execution and delivery according to client’s expectations, time and budget requirements
• Project admin, meeting minutes, purchase orders creation
• Follow and create procedures making recommendations for process improvements

Tool skills

• Advanced user skills for Studio, memoQ and XTM.
• User experience with XTRF is an advantage
